As part of the Kings Coronation celebrations this year, Deal Town Council provided funds for the Chamber to purchase the Union Jack Bunting that festooned the high street throughout the summer months. As usual our trusty band of volunteers put the bunting up. At the end of summer, when the volunteers took down the bunting, they received some very positive feedback. This prompted the Chamber to have a Facebook poll. The question was asked: Bunting every year? Or Bunting only on special occasions? The results and in……….. an impressive 79% of voters said they would like to see bunting in the high street every year.
