The East Kent Spatial Development Company is a joint initiative of east Kent councils to channel infrastructure grant monies into projects that would not otherwise come forward on a commercial basis.
The Chamber is delighted to hear that their next investment will be in 5 light industrial units as part of the development between Albert Road and Southwall Road. A grant of around 2/3rds of a million pounds will encourage businesses to locate in Deal and create a good number of jobs that also diversify the range of local employment opportunities without commuting to other towns.
