The Deal & Walmer Chamber of Trade lights volunteer team are starting the process of bringing Christmas cheer by installing the main Christmas lights in Deal town on Sunday 5th November starting at the Landmark, 9am. The volunteers of the Chamber of Trade have been festooning the town with Christmas lights since the late 70’s, starting with 38 miniature Christmas trees and a few strings of lights. The volunteers and the Chamber wish to bring the people that live. work and play in Deal, Christmas illuminations, brining happiness and cheer to all.
Can You Help:- The lights team are looking for new members to help look after the lights and help with the installation and removal of the lights. If you are ladder competent, an electrician or electronic engineer, we need your help.
